Backpacking Trip #1 - Glacier National Park
Gorgeous views on lakes, unexpected waterfalls, rainbow wildflowers, new friends made on the trail. Not pictured: giant blisters, bruised toe nails, Emily crying because of before mentioned foot pain, miles after miles of shrubs that cut up your legs.
Our first two days were relatively flat 10 milers. The third day, my feet were in so much pain that I cried the whole first mile of our 12 mile day also knowing that this was our day to climb up and over the entire mountain range, gaining 4000 feet in elevation.
