Fourteen years ago Lauren Carrey Patterson aka "Po" was born. Lauren is my baby sister and sometimes my favorite sister (don't worry I don't actually play favorites).
Why Lauren is awesome:
1) Lauren is the quarterback of her coed flag football team. She can run a football and kick a soccer ball better than any boy ages 12-14 residing in DeWitt. The one bad thing is that has to worry about a kid accidentally pulling down her pants when going for the flag.
2) She has a passion for decorating and reads Homes & Gardens regularily. She loves all things minitatures and all things that are cut out of a magazine. This summer Po helped me make a scrapbook by cutting out words and letters out of magazines! She has also the cutest room in the house that she decorated all herself.
3) She is known to chase after giant running turkeys. She is never afraid to stick up for herself or do things that she loves even if they seem foolish to others.
4) In her cute room of hers you can often find her reading...way past her bed time. It is known that she can knock out a book a day. But seriously, how many other 14 year olds do you know beg to read more?
5) If blue is her favorite color, could you take a guess to what her favorite school is? That's right, she's a future Michigan Wolverine in the making.
6) She's my little sister and I love her.
