Honeymoon Part 4

One of the best things we did on the honeymoon was waking up at 4:45 to go see the sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain.  This sunrise is the very first in the United States and happens around 5:20 am.
Unfortunately, my camera died before the sun was fully risen.  But both Mike and I felt joy in our hearts.  We were glad we did it because it became one of those unique experiences that made our trip.
We went back to our B&B, slept and then left for our next journey....Greenville, Maine!

A little about Greenville- it is the heart of Maine, sort of the last stop of civilization.  It is a small town bordering beautiful Moose Head Lake.
While in Greenville, we stayed here:

We stayed in the "Trout Room":

We got there late in the afternoon and really wanted to go swimming, so we headed down to Lily Bay State Park.

When we got there, we were more interested in feeding the ducks then swimming.  The ducks were very friendly and would even come up and eat out of Mike's hand.  Mike endearingly named them Wadsworth and Quackerbarrel.

After swimming, we went back to the lodge and got ready for dinner.  We had dinner on the deck overlooking the lake.  Mike had lobster macaroni and cheese for the second night in a row :) We finished the night up with a beautiful sunset:
