Immediately after I took this picture, I thought to myself "man, why do my feet look so wobbly?" Fleeting self-critical thoughts unfortunately often can be the norm.
I've been re-reading The Gifts of Imperfection these past few weeks.
Letting go of imperfection as a definition of self-worth seems to be a live long journey.
A retraining of the eye.
A learning of what it exactly it means to "let-go".
Can anyone explain that to me?
With that, I leave you with a rally quote:
"Perfection is a shallow, unreal, and fatally uninteresting." -- Anne Lamott
